Cleanup Day!

All residents, businesses, and friends are encouraged to join in. It’s a great chance to make our neighborhood look better, socialize with neighbors, and get some exercise.
We’ll meet at 10:00 at the bus shelter by Crescent Point—Lismore & 17th St. We’ll then disperse to pick up trash.
Bring your gloves and reachers/grabbers (to save your back). We’ll have plenty of blue garbage bags that the City will haul away for free.
If you arrive later, just look for us and join in. We’ll be picking up trash along our neighborhood streets, including W. 17th St, Crescent Rd., Lindbergh, Hancock, etc.
Metal Recycling: Between 10 to 11 on Saturday, April 11, one of our volunteers also will use his truck to pick up metal you may no longer want and will haul it for recycling--everything from aluminum siding to tin cans, iron, brass, copper wiring, metal guttering, car batteries, metal shelves, and more.
If you have metal items to recycle: 1) Send an email with your address to crescentbend@gmail.com or call or text 812-345-1201 before 8:00 am Saturday, April 11; and 2) Leave the items near the curb in front of your house by 10:00 am that morning. If you have heavy items, please help load them into the truck.
If it’s raining at 10:00 on Saturday, the rain date
